I watched the premier of glee last night. I normally don’t watch fox shows all that much, i'm not too sure why. Well.. my initial reaction was that parts of Glee were super cheesy…and the acting while they were singing, to me didn’t seem…lifelike? I was in musical theatre,band ,and chorus in high school and I have to say, we were never as crazy and cheesy as the people in the show when we performed, Haha. At some points in the show I felt that the actors were almost trying too hard with their jokes/comedy.which is so disappointing, I really want to like the show, so i'm going to continue to watch.It reminded me of high school musical a little too much.what did you all think?i do have to say that the woman who plays the gym teacher is HYSTERICAL. i never can remember her name, but she reminds me a bit of ellen degeneres...soo funny.

Had you seen the Pilot? My roommate and I really like it and we're both drama nerds. It's saying a lot if my roommate likes it though because she is a musician. It's her life. She's in a bunch of well known choirs and plays piano as her profession. Our main complaint is the over the top/obviously not happening right now signing. It sounds way too recorded. I love the OCD redhead. I can't STAND the coach! But characters like that who always get their way and are so ignorant and wrong just really bother me.
Yeah I'm glad it has a realistic plot that I can relate to. And you're tooootally right about the terrible lipsyncing! Haha! Have you seen or heard any songs from Spring Awakening?

I have not seen it, but the teacher is from this movie Role Models.. if u thought she was funny, watch this movie... thanks for the recap!! xxooo
I haven't watched it yet either but to me it also looks like HSM, which you confirmed. I'll have to watch it sometime and find out!
i am planning to watch both episodes tomorrow sometime but i hope i like it because it seems fun and funny!
